A PATH TO RECONCILIATION

Our  people have come through extremely difficult times.  Residential schools destroyed much  of our identity, languages, ceremonies, and the love of our families. We were forced to give up our original ways of living in harmony with the land. The intergenerational impacts continue to ripple forward. The Truth and  Reconciliation Commission report calls for action by all  Canadians. While Canadians wish to participate in reconciliation, many do not know how. 

The Sun Lodge Village offers such opportunities. Individuals and families are welcome to come and get to know us, pray with us and spend time on the land.  Organizations and community groups can arrange workshops for staff,board members, and volunteers.  Schools and community groups can organize day trips and overnight camps for children and youth. We also welcome your financial support.
