OUR VISION
We envision a day when Anishinaabeg people will once again be as strong, healthy and resilient, through strengthening our cultural heritage, reconnecting with our spiritual identity, and growing our natural relationship with the land.
Our prophecies tell of a time when all races will come together to create a new world of peace and harmony. Thus we welcome people of all races to come and learn with us, pray together, and build relationships of love and trust.
HONOURING LITTLE TURTLE
Little Turtle, the late Shirley Guimond McCorrister was our sister, partner and friend who passed away in 2016. She carried the vision of the Sun Lodge Village, and she taught us to honour and love the Creator in all that we do. From the other side, Little Turtle continues to provide us with guidance, as we work to fulfill the vision of the SunLodge Village.
